YOUR ONE STOP SHOP FOR ALL THINGS PROFESSIONAL, ENTERTAINMENT, & NETWORKING
The Undergraduate Communication Association (UCA) is a student-run organization that promotes interest and success in the field of communication and helps students develop an invaluable network with professionals and other members. UCA holds events for its members, such as:
Biannual Networking Nights, in which professionals from various communications-related industries (such as NBCUniversal, Paramount, Lionsgate, Warner Brothers, Google, Universal Music Group and many more) come to UCLA to network with students.
Professional development workshops, in which professional organizations send representatives to help members improve their resumes, cover letters, industry knowledge and more.
“Getting Into the Major” Question and Answer sessions with the Executive Board members on the Communications Major
A majority of our members involved with our events have found success in areas such as film, entertainment, media, journalism, technology, consulting, as well as thriving start ups. Although these are geared towards the Communications field, ALL students are welcome to join and network with us and our special guests.
There are no weekly meetings, just events! You do NOT have to be a Communication Studies major to become a member. We welcome all majors at UCLA! Applications are online and can be found at:
